Privacy Policy

Effective date: 8 September 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Innovation – Accounting Solutions & Tax Consulting (“Innovation”, “we”, “us”), 22 Campbell Gray Living, Abdali, Amman, Jordan, collects, uses, stores and protects information in connection with our website (innovationjo.com) and our internal communications system, the Innovation Track System (the “System”), including its integration with the WhatsApp Business Platform and Meta APIs.

1. Who we are

Innovation is an accounting and tax-consulting firm registered in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: [email protected], +962 77 133 3101.

2. What the System does

The System is an internal tool used by Innovation to archive and monitor business communications exchanged between Innovation employees and Innovation’s clients over WhatsApp Business accounts owned by Innovation and over Innovation company email accounts. It exists to meet our record-keeping, quality-assurance and regulatory obligations as a licensed accounting firm. It is not offered to the general public.

3. Information we collect

  • Website visitors: information you submit through contact or consultation forms (name, phone number, email, message), and standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected through server logs and cookies.
  • Clients and contacts who message our WhatsApp business numbers: your WhatsApp phone number, display name, the content of messages you exchange with our business numbers (text, media, documents, voice notes), timestamps and delivery status. This data is received through the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.
  • Clients and contacts who email us: email address, message content, attachments and metadata.
  • Innovation employees: business account identifiers, messages sent from Innovation-owned accounts, and system access logs.
  • Meta Platform Data: WhatsApp Business Account details, phone-number metadata, message templates and webhook events obtained through Meta’s APIs under the whatsapp_business_messaging and whatsapp_business_management permissions.

4. How we use information

  • To respond to enquiries and provide accounting, tax and advisory services.
  • To send and receive WhatsApp messages with clients, including service notifications and replies to client-initiated conversations, in accordance with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.
  • To retain an accurate record of client communications for legal, regulatory and professional-standards compliance.
  • To review communications for service quality, policy compliance and fraud prevention. Automated analysis (including AI-assisted classification) may flag messages for review by authorised Innovation staff; no decision producing legal effects on you is taken solely by automated means.
  • To manage our WhatsApp Business Accounts, phone numbers and message templates.
  • To secure and operate the System and our website.

5. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of: performance of a contract with our clients; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and quality-controlling our business; compliance with legal and professional obligations applicable to accounting and tax practitioners in Jordan; and, where required, your consent.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. – to deliver messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform, subject to Meta’s own terms and privacy policy.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • AI service providers used for automated message classification, processing message content solely on our instructions.
  • Regulators, courts or law-enforcement when required by law.

Meta Platform Data is used only for the purposes described in this policy and in compliance with Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We do not use Platform Data to build or augment user profiles for third parties, and we do not transfer it to data brokers or advertising networks.

7. Data retention

Communication records are retained for as long as needed to provide our services and to satisfy Jordanian legal, tax and professional record-keeping requirements (generally up to seven years after the end of the client relationship), after which they are deleted or anonymised. Website form submissions are retained for up to 24 months. Server logs are retained for up to 12 months.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections, stored on access-controlled servers, and protected by role-based access, audit logging and integrity hashing of archived records. Access is limited to authorised Innovation staff with a business need.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Requests may be subject to legal retention obligations. To exercise your rights, email [email protected]. See also our Data Deletion Instructions.

10. Children

Our services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

11. International transfers

Our infrastructure and service providers may store data outside Jordan, including in the European Union and the United States. We apply contractual safeguards to such transfers.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates the latest revision.
